Terrorists are engaging in subversive activities with the goal of destabilizing the state's peace and tranquillity, committing unlawful terrorist acts such as looting, robbing, and killing innocent civilians who are peacefully living under the threat of guns.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 9 August at 09:30 PM, U Pane Kam, 49 years old (Father) U Thaung Hnin, who lived in Sandakuu (3) Ward of Tamu Township in Sagaing Region, was present in his house together with his family, when four male terrorists (under scrutiny), holding arms, arrived at the house and robbed a motorcycle, a mobile phone and cash from the house at gunpoint. Before making their escape, the terrorists shot U Pane Kam. As a result, U Pane Kam was dead from gunfire injuries, it is reported.
The security forces are diligently conducting search operations and implementing area lockdowns to apprehend and bring to justice the terrorists who robbed at a gunpoint and killed an innocent male from the aforementioned incident in accordance with security measures, it is reported.
