In regions and states, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts by detonating roads and bridges, as well as dropping bombs and firing heavy arms on the non-military targets, such as Ward and Villages where innocent civilians reside.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 15 May at 02:00 PM, while security personnel and the No. 9 bridge construction special team were repairing Yaekyichaung Bridge (locally known as), which had been destroyed by a mine detonation, in Yaekyichaung Village of Nyaunglebin Township, Bago Region, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number – under scrutiny) recklessly dropped a bomb using a drone. The bomb exploded approximately 50 yards northwest of the Bridge, causing injuries to U Myo Aung, 43 years old, (Father) U Htay Thein, who lives in Innwine Village, U Kyaw Soe Moe, 54 years old, (Father) U San, who lives in Thaunggyi Village and U Myo Min Oo, 40 years old, (Father) U Tin Shwe, who lives in Bawdigone Village. They were transported to the Nyaunglebin Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating to take punitive action against those terrorists who recklessly dropped bomb using a drone on public places, causing injuries to innocent civilians, as soonest in line with law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
