Three innocent civilians were injured as a result of the reckless firing of a heavy weapon by the KIA insurgent group supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists towards a Village in Mohnyin Township, Kachin State.
The incident happened that, on 10 May at 08:45 AM, the KIA insurgent group supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists opened fire with a heavy weapon towards Nyaunglebin Village in Mohnyin Township, Kachin State. The heavy weapon’s bullets exploded inside the Village, causing injuries to U Aung Khin, 68 years old (Father) U Saw Maung, Daw An Jar Taung, 76 years old (Father) U Mayit Naw and Mg Min Khaung Zin, 6 years old (Father) U Soe Line. They were transported to the “Sadanar” Clinic in Shansu Ward of Nammar Town for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating to take punitive action against those terrorists who recklessly opened fire with a heavy weapon towards the Village, causing injuries to innocent civilians, as soonest in line with law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
