Three innocent civilians were injured in a drone-dropped bomb attack carried out by KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists

In States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 9 March at 12:00 PM, U Zaw Lin (46 years old) and U Sai Zaw (58 years old), who both live in Tharsi Village in Kyaukgyi Township, Bago Region, along with Daw Tin Myint (57 years old), who lives in Thaungpu Village in Phyu Township, were returning to their villages on a three-wheeled motorcycle along the Phyu-Oakphyat Road. As they apporached Walgyi (South) Village in Phyu Township, two bombs dropped by a drone carried out by KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists, exploded. As a result, they sustained injuries from bomb shell shrapnel and were transported to Phyu Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are conducting an investigation into the incident involving the drone-dropped bomb attack, leading to the injuries mentioned earlier. The aim of this investigation is to take punitive action against the terrorists involved. This action is in accordance with the law and is geared towards upholding stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
