Three innocent civilians were injured in a drone-dropped bomb attack carried out by terrorist groups, targeting crowded public areas

In States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars, and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.

Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 27 March at 7:30 AM, the so-called PDF terrorist group used a drone to drop bombs on Paychaung Village in Tasei Township, targeting Sarkone (East) Village in Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Region. Two of the bombs exploded on the road in front of the “Aung Tha Pyay” tea shop in Sarkone (East) Village. As a result, U Tin Soe (48 years old), Ko Nay Min Oo (23 years old), and Mg Zaw Lin Aung (18 years old), who all live in Sarkone (East) Village, and were passing by at the time, sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel and was transported to Kanbalu Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.

Security personnel are conducting an investigation into the incident involving an attack with bombs dropped from a drone, which led to the injuries mentioned earlier. The aim of this investigation is to take punitive action against the terrorists involved. This action is in accordance with the law and is geared towards upholding stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
