Three males were injured while a hospital building and a motor vehicle were damaged due to the reckless firing of improvised mortars and the dropping of a bomb by so-called PDF terrorists towards a Ward and a Village where innocent civilians reside in Shwebo and Loikaw Townships

      In regions and states, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts by detonating roads and bridges, as well as dropping bombs and firing heavy arms on the non-military targets, such as Ward and Villages where innocent civilians reside.
      Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 29 June at 07:25 AM, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number – under scrutiny) recklessly opened fire improvised mortars towards Khuntaunggyi Village in Shwebo Township of Sagaing Region. The attack originated from Nyaungkan Village. Two projectiles from the improvised mortars landed and exploded in a field located approximately 300 meters east of Khuntaunggyi Village. The explosion caused U Toe Aung, 55 years old (Father) U Ohn Hlaing, who lives in this Village, to sustain injuries from bomb shrapnel. He was transported to the Shwebo Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
      Similarly, at 08:15 AM, a terrorist group (total number - under scrutiny) recklessly dropped a bomb using a drone on the Township hospital located on Wunna Road of Minsu Ward in Loikaw Township, Kayah State. The bomb landed and detonated beside the entrance’s fence of the four-story hospital staff housing. The explosion caused damage to the brick wall and 14 window glasses of the four-story building, as well as three window glasses of a single-story building. Additionally, the right door and the bonnet of the MDY-5F xxxx KLUGER motor vehicle were also damaged by bomb shrapnel. Furthermore, Ko Zin Myo Htet, 21 years old (Father) U Than Shwe, who lives in Namtbawwam (Kagyi) Ward of Loikaw Township and who was passing by on a motorcycle near the scene at the time of explosion, sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel. He was transported to the Loikaw Township Public hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
      Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against terrorists who recklessly opened fire improvised mortars and dropped a bomb using a drone towards a Ward and a Village, where innocent civilians reside, and The Township public hospital building that provides health care services for the public, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
