In regions and states, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts by detonating roads and bridges, as well as dropping bombs and firing heavy arms on the non-military targets, such as Ward and Villages where innocent civilians reside.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 5 May at 05:00 PM, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number - under scrutiny) dropped 16 bombs using drones on Thayetkwa Village of Myaing Township, Magway Region. The attack was launched from a forest near the Village and the bombs exploded within the Village. As a result of the explosion, six window panes of the Basic Education High School building and zinc roofs of the seven residential houses were damaged. Additionally, U Pyae, 80 years old, (Father) U Ba Chit, sustained bomb injuries, it is reported.
Similarly, at 06:15 PM, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number - under scrutiny) opened fire mortars towards Zeephyukon Village in Pale Township, Sagaing Region. The attack was launched from fields north of the Village. Four mortar bombs exploded within the Village, causing U Hla Htwar, 71 years old, (Father) U Yar Tun, who lives in this Village, to sustain bomb injuries, it is reported.
Likewise, on 6 May at 03:30 AM, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number – under scrutiny) opened fire mortars towards Aungchanthar Village in Ye-U Township. The attack was launched between Thanthal Village and Htantaw Village. One of the mortar bombs exploded near a bamboo shop of U Kyi Shwin, 57 years old, (Father) U Aung Thin, who lives in this Village, causing U Kyi Shwin to sustain bomb injuries. He was transported to a Tradition Medicine Hospital, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against the so-called PDF terrorists who recklessly dropped bombs and opened fire heavy weapons on the Ward and Villages where innocent civilians reside, as soonest in accordance with law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
