Three residential houses were burned and destroyed due to a reckless arson attack by so-called PDF terrorists entered the innocent residential village in Gangaw Township, Magway Region.
The incident happened that, on 21 June at 05:30 PM, security personnel were engaged in security measures in Kan Village of Gangaw Township, Magway Region. During this time, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number-under scrutiny) launched an attack using small arms and dropped bombs using a drone. In response, the security personnel swiftly implemented security protocols, causing the terrorists to retreat. While the security personnel were investigating the scene of the incident, the terrorists, in a reckless act, set fire to residential houses within the village. As a result of the firing, three two-story houses belonging to Daw Hla Kyi (53 years old), U Zin Min Pu (50 years old) and Daw Cho Aye (42 years old) were burned down and completely destroyed. The houses were constructed with plank floors, plank walls and zinc roofing, it is reported.
Security forces are taking necessary measures to take effective action against the terrorists, who reckless arson attack and entered the innocent residential village, in accordance with the law and security measures to ensure peace and stability in the area, it is reported.
