TNLA members wantonly attacked with heavy weapons towards Zeedaban Village in Nantphatkar Village group of Kutkai Township, Northern Shan State, and the heavy weapon shells landed and exploded, resulting in the death of and injuries to local innocent civilians, it is reported.
The incident occurred that, on 1 September at about 02:00 PM, TNLA members launched a wanton attack with heavy weapons on Nantphatkar Village group tract from a location approximately 1000 meters northwest of the Village group, and they retreated on the same way. The heavy weapon shells landed and exploded within Zeedaban Village in Nantphatkar Village group. Due to the explosion of the attack, an innocent local civilian was killed and two others were injured, it is reported.
Security personnel sent the injured people to Kutkai Public Hospital to receive medical treatment. Moreover, the security personnel are conducting necessary area security operations in Nantphatkha village and the vicinity, it is reported.
