A report said that TNLA terrorists had launched an unprovoked attack on Namhkam in Shan State (North), using improvised rockets. The attack resulted in an explosion in the Thayagon neighbourhood, leading to the tragic death of two innocent children and the serious injury of another child.
At approximately on 27 October at 05:00 AM, TNLA terrorists attacked Namhkam with rockets fired from a location about 3,000 metres south of the town. The attack resulted in the tragic deaths of two innocent children, aged 12 and nine, and the serious injury of a four year old child due to an explosion in the Thayagon ward.
The injured child was reportedly taken to Namhkam People’s Hospital for medical treatment, and the security forces are continuing to carry out security tasks in the area.
