In States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 14 November at 10:15 AM, so-called PDF terrorists attacked with improvised rockets and drop bombs using a drone onto No. (2) Ward of Myaing Town, Magway Region. The bombs landed and exploded within the Township Public Hospital and on the Thapyay building in No. (2) Basic Education High School compound. As a result of the explosions, 11 zinc roofs, four ceilings of the Township Public Hospital, as well as 10 zinc roofs, 12 ceilings and a blackboard of the Thapyay building, were damaged. Additionally, an assistant junior teacher Daw Thalar Khin (31 years old), a junior teacher Daw Mya Mya Htway (52 years old), Grade-5 female students; Ma Nway Nway Yati Thaw (11 years old) and Ma Thawl Thawl Win (12 years old), who were present within the school compound at that time, sustained bomb shrapnel injuries respectively. They were transported to the Myaing Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against terrorists who attacked with improvised rockets and drop bombs using a drone onto a Ward, causing two female teachers and two students to sustain injures and some buildings to sustain damages, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
