Two houses were damaged in an attack with improvised rockets within Bhamo Town, carried out by a group of KIA armed insurgents and so-called PDF terrorists

     In States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 29 March at 6:30 AM, a group of KIA armed insurgents, along with so-called PDF terrorists, fired improvised rockets at Bhamo Town. The improvised rocket shells exploded on the houses of U Tin Tun (55 years old) and Daw Ohn Yi (48 years old), who both live in Minkyaung Ward. As a result, the two houses were damaged by the explosions. Fortunately, there were no injuries to people, it is reported.
     Security personnel are conducting an investigation into the incident involving an attack with improvised rockets, which led to the aforementioned damages. The aim of this investigation is to take punitive action against the terrorists involved. This action is in accordance with the law and is geared towards upholding stability and peace in the region, it is reporte.
