Two Innocent Civilians Injured After Explosion Device Planted by So-called PDF Faction in Dawei Township of Tanintharyi Region

     In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 14 May 2025 at 10:30 AM, Ko Chit Myo Aye (21 years old), a resident of Kyauk Mal Taung Village in Dawei Township of Tanintharyi Region, was heading to an orchard near Ba Wa Pin Village. Upon reaching a electric tower located on the outskirts of Ba Wa Pin Village, he stepped on an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction. The device exploded, causing Ko Chit Myo Aye to sustain shrapnel wounds. He was subsequently transported to Dawei Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Similarly, at 4:30 PM, Ko Nay Lin Oo (27 years old), a resident of Pa Kar Ri Village in Dawei Township, was heading to his orchard near the village. Upon reaching the orchard, he stepped on an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction. The device exploded, causing Ko Nay Lin Oo to sustain shrapnel wounds. He was subsequently transported to Dawei Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incidents to take effective action in accordance with the law.
