In order to cause injuries to both peaceable civilians and administrative authorities who are striving to restore the rule of law, extreme terrorists provide financial assistance and instigate destructive activities, such as detonating explosive devices and remote blasting, against public roads, railways, government offices and houses.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 13 May 2025 at 9:50 AM, a report stated that a man and a woman with shrapnel injuries were admitted to the Township Public Hospital in Sagaing Township of Sagaing Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, they identified the victims as Ko Wai Lu Kyaw (24 years old) and his wife, Ma Wai Wai Phyo (24 years old), both residents of Sin Tat Village in Sagaing Township. The incident occurred while they were travelling in a six-wheeled vehicle (License Plate No. MDY-15 8J/4559) along the Sagaing-Shwebo Road. Upon reaching Kyauk-Se Village, an explosive device planted by a so-called PDF terrorist faction, exploded on the right of the road, causing them injuries, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the culprits of the acts of terrorism from the above incident to take effective action in accordance with the law.
