Two Innocent Civilians Injured in Drone Bomb Attack on Village by A Group of KNU Member Supporting Terrorism and So-called PDF terrorists

    Terrorist insurgents have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
    Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 3 August, 2024 at 10:30 AM, a group of KNU members who support terrorism along with so-called PDF terrorists carried out  drone attacks dropping  bombs on Taw Wi Village in Nyaunglebin Township of Bago Region. The bombs exploded within the village. As a result of these explosions, U Aung Thaung (70 years old) and Ma Ei Mon Aye (17 years old)  both residents of the village, sustained shrapnel injuries and were transported to Nyaunglebin Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported. 
    Due to the heinous acts of armed insurgents and terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
