Two Innocent Civilians Injured in Drone-Dropped Bomb Attacks on Village by Terrorist Insurgents

     Terrorist insurgents have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
     Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 23 July, 2024 at 4:30 PM, a so-called PDF terrorist group used a drone to drop bombs on No.(1) Ward in Htilin Township of Magway Region. The bombs exploded within the ward. As a result of these explosions, U Zaw Myo Thant (38 years old), a resident of the ward, sustained shrapnel injuries and was transported to Htilin Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported. 
     Similarly, at 5:30 PM, security personnel received a report of a man with shrapnel injureis who had arrived at Nyaung Khar Shae Station Hospital in Waw Township of Bago Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim was U Aung Aung (37 years old), a resident of Pyin Katoe Kone Village in Kyaikto Township of Mon State. The incident occurred at 12:00 PM on the same day when a so-called PDF terrorist group used a drone to drop bombs on Pyin Katoe Kone Village. The bombs exploded within the village, resulting in injureis to U Aung Aung, it is reported.
     Due to the heinous acts of armed insurgents and terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are killed and injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
