Terrorists committing inhumane acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 20 May, 2025, at 4:30 pm, a report stated that two women with shrapnel injuries were admitted to the Township Public Hospital in Taungoo Township of Bago Region. When security personnel arrived at the hospital for further investigation, they identified the victims as Daw Mar Mi (43 years old) and Daw Aye Soe (40 years old), both residents of Kyat Tet Nyaung Pin Village in Kyaukgyi Township. The incident occurred when a group of pro-terrorism KNU members, along with so-called PDF terrorists, fired heavy weapons into the victims’ village. One of the shells exploded within the village, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent people have been injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
