Terrorists committing inhumane acts have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the residential areas, including towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 27 May 2025 at 4:30 PM, a terrorist group fired heavy weapons into Daw Ta Char (Kayah) Village in Loikaw Township of Kayah State. The shells exploded within the village. As a result, Ko Dee Ral (27 years old) and Daw Khar Mal (52 years old), both residents of the village, sustained shrapnel injuries. They are currently receiving medical treatment at the No.7 Military Hospital (100 bedded) in Loikaw Town, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards and villages where innocent civilians peacefully reside, innocent people have been injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
