Two innocent civilians were dead while 13 civilians were injured as a result of an attack carried out by so-called PDF terrorists, who dropped bombs from a drone during a wedding ceremony in Payan Village of Shwebo Township

     Extremist terrorists are carrying out acts of terrorism, including detonations, heavy weapon firing, and dropping bombs using drones, targeting wards, villages where innocent civilians reside, as well as public roads and markets.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 4 December at 03:30 PM, so-called PDF terrorists conducted an attack using dropped bombs launched from a drone during a wedding ceremony held at U Lin Maung’s house in Payan Village of Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region. The dropped bombs landed and exploded amidst the ceremony, resulting in the deaths of two innocent local women who were arriving at the event. Additionally, 13 individuals, including two seven-year-old children, sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel respectively. They were transported to Shwebo Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     It has been reported that the security personnel are investigating the perpetrators of the acts of terrorism from the above incident in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with the law.
