In States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 11 March at 12:30 PM, a so-called PDF terrorist group dropped bombs using a drone in Nganwarseik Village, Kyaukgyi Township, Bago Region. One of the bombs exploded near the fence between the yards of Daw Kyin May (68 years old) and Daw Thu Zar Win (42 years old), who both live in the village. As a result, both sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel and were transported to Palnwekone Circuit Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are conducting an investigation into the incident involving the drone-dropped bomb attack, leading to the injuries mentioned earlier. The aim of this investigation is to take punitive action against the terrorists involved. This action is in accordance with the law and is geared towards upholding stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
