Two innocent civilians were injured in a targeted attack by so-called PDF terrorists, used heavy weapons in a deliberate and reckless manner against residential wards

     In States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars, and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 28 February at 8:00 PM, a report stated that a man and woman, injured by heavy weapon shrapnel, arrived at Mandalay Public Hospital in Haymarzala Ward of Chanayetharzan Township, Mandalay Region. Security personnel promptly arrived at the hospital and conducted an inspection. During the investigation, it was found that a so-called PDF terrorists, had attacked Myinmu Township, Sagaing Region, with heavy weapons, causing explosions in the wards. As a result, Daw Mya Win (57 years old), from the Western Ward, and U Thal Zaw (40 years old), from the Eastern Ward of Myinmu Town, sustained shrapnel injuries from the heavy weapon shells, it is reported.
     Security personnel are conducting an investigation into the incidents involving the heavy weapons attack on the Wards, which resulted in the aforementioned case. The aim of this investigation is to take punitive action against the terrorists involved. This action is in accordance with the law and is geared towards upholding stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
