In States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars, and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 11 October at 02:30 PM, KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists wantonly attacked with drop bombs using a drone into Kwinchaungwa Village of Kyauktaga Township, Bago Region. The drop bombs fell and exploded within the Village. As a result of the explosions, U Soe Moe Thu (40 years old) and his wife Daw Ohmmar Lwin (45 years old), who both live in this Village, sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel and were transported to the Penwekone Circuit Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against terrorists who attacked with dropping bombs using drone, aiming to injure and destroy innocent civilians and residential houses, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
A male and female were injured in drop bombs attack using a drone by terrorists in Kyauktaga Township.
