In States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include detonating public roads and bridges, dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars, and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 4 December at 06:00 PM, KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists conducted an attack ny dropping bombs using a drone onto No. (4) Ward of Oaktwin Township, Bago Region. The drop bombs landed and exploded within the Ward. As a result, Daw Ei Zar Win (45 years old) and her son Mg Htoo Ko Ko Khant (19 years old), who both live in this Ward, sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel and were transported to Kyawlpawl Circuit Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against terrorists who attacked with dropping bombs using a drone onto a Ward, causing two innocent civilians to sustain injuries, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
