In regions and states, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts by detonating roads and bridges, as well as dropping bombs and firing heavy arms on the non-military targets, such as Ward and Villages where innocent civilians reside.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 28 May at 12:00 PM, an insurgent group (total number – under scrutiny) recklessly opened fire with a heavy weapon towards Wards in Kawkareik Township, Kayin State. A heavy weapon’s bullet exploded in no. 7 Ward, resulting in deaths of U Phoe Kyar, 73 years old, (Father) U Tin Paw, and his wife Daw Khin Myat Htway, 50 years old, (Father) U Myint Oo, who both live in no. 3 Ward of Kawkareik Township and who were passing by on a motorcycle near the scene at the time of explosion, it is reported.
Similarly, at 06:15 PM, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number – under scrutiny) dropped bombs using a drone on Ma-U Village in Mingin Township, Sagaing Region. The attack was launched from Myayni Village, approximately 1000 years northeast of Ma-U Village. Two bombs exploded in the house yard (owner – under scrutiny), while another two bombs exploded in the empty yard and on the roof of the house belongin to U Maung Htoo, 65 years old, (Father) U Paw Oo, who lives in Ma-U Village. As a result of the explosions, approximately six zinc roofs of the U Maung Htoo’s house were damaged, it is reported.
Likewise, at 06:45 PM, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number – under scrutiny) recklessly opened fire a 40mm heavy weapon towards Mintadar Ward in Mogok Township, Mandalay Region. The attack originated from a location approximately 200 meters southeast of the area. A heavy weapon’s bullet exploded on the roof of the portico of the Township Electrical Manager Office in the Ward, resulting in damages to the zinc roof and ceilings of the office, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating to take punitive action against those terrorists who recklessly opened fire with heavy weapons and dropped bombs towards the Wards and Villages, where innocent civilians live, as soonest in line with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
