Two innocent civilians, who were working on a farm, were injured from bomb shrapnel due to a reckless heavy weapon attack carried out by KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists in Yaedashe Township

     In States and Regions, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts against non-military targets. These acts include dropping bombs, firing heavy arms, using improvised mortars, and setting fire to residential houses in areas where innocent civilians reside, such as wards and villages.
     Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on August 30 at 07:00 AM, while Daw Khin Hla, 65 years old, who lives in Panehnaepin Village of Yaedashe Township in Bago Region, was working in a farm near the Village together with her grandson Mg Aung Paing, 17 years old, a projectile from a heavy weapon, fired by KNU members who support terrorism and so-called PDF terrorists, landed and exploded near them. As a result of the explosion, both of them sustained injuries from bomb shrapnel and were transported to the Yaedashe Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
     Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against the perpetrators who recklessly opened fire heavy weapons towards a Village, causing injuries to innocent civilians, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
