Terrorists committing terrorist activities have been engaging in battles, firing heavy weapons and improvised rockets and dropping bombs using drones into the public towns, wards and villages.
Since they are committing such terrorist acts, on 12 November, 2024 at 5:30 PM, a report stated that a woman and a child with shrapnel injuries had arrived at the Township Public Hospital in Pyin Oo Lwin Township of Mandalay Region. When security personnel promptly arrived at the Hospital for further investigation, it was discovered that the victim were Ma Nan Hla Thwal (23 years old) and her son, Mg Lyan Sai (2 years old), both residents of Ohn Ma Thee Village in Nyaungcho Township of Northern Shan State. The incident occurred when a terrorist group fired heavy weapon rounds into the victims’ village. One of the shells exploded within the village, resulting in their injuries, it is reported.
Due to the heinous acts of armed terrorists such as engaging in battles and firing of heavy weapons and improvised rockets within towns, wards, and villages where innocent civillians peacefully reside, innocent civilians are killed and injured. Consequently, local residents are protesting vehemently against these acts of terrorism, completely refusing to accept them. Security personnel are intensifying necessary security measures in collaboration with the local residents, it is reported.
