Two male terrorists died by the explosion of a homemade mine while attempting to plant this mine for a terrorist explosive attack in Nyaung-U Township, Mandalay Region.
The incident occurred that, on 18 June at 07:00 AM, according to the report that an explosion had occurred near Htetyarkone Village located on the Village Connected Road between Sinku Village and Tetma Village in Nyaung-U Township, Mandalay Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. According to the investigation, it is found that two individuals, Kyaw Moe, 50 years old (Father) U Sein Thaw, who lived in Yaetwingyi Village of Nyaung-U Township and Ye Myint Swe, 40 years old (Father) U Khin Win, who lived in Sinku Village lost their lives due to injuries caused by mine shrapnel injuries while attempting to plant a homemade mine near the roadside bushes, which explode, it is reported.
It has been reported that the security forces are continuing necessary measures with regard to the deceased perpetrator who attempted to plant a homemade mine, which exploded, in order to be able to take effective action in accordance with laws, and to maintain stability and peace in the region.
