In regions and states, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts by detonating roads and bridges, as well as dropping bombs and firing heavy arms on the non-military targets, such as Ward and Villages where innocent civilians reside.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 16 July at 07:30 AM, so-called PDF terrorists recklessly dropped two bombs using a drone into the Myoma market located in the Anoutzay area of No. (4) Ward in Shwebo Town, Sagaing Region. During the attack, the bombs landed and exploded near the meat and fish shops inside the market. As a result of the explosion, Ma Nge Lay, eight years old (Father) U Mya Maung, who lives in Minkone Village of Shwebo Township, and who was persent near the incident at the time of explosion, sustained major injuries on her neck, hand and leg from bomb shrapnel. Furthermore, a novice named Arlawka (aka) Arkar Kyaw, 13 years old and two years as a novice, (Father) U Soe Lin, who lives in Gandayone tike monastery located in No. (5) Ward of Shwebo Township, U Thaung Hteik Lin, 29 years old (Father) U Kyaw Khine, U Ye Ko (aka) U Aye Kyu, 58 years old (Father) U Tin Shein and Ma Lae Lae Mon, 21 years old (Father) U Ye Ko, who all live in No. (7) Ward, as well as Daw Zar Chi, 37 years old (Father) U Khine Maung Win and Daw Su Su Hlaing, 51 years old (Father) U Ba Khin, who both live in No. (4) Ward, and Ma Thin Thin Zaw (aka) Hmway Hmway, 11 years old (Father) U Zaw Win, who all lives in Minkone Village and who all individuals were present near the incident at the time of explosion, sustained minor injuries from bomb shrapnel respectively. They were transported to the Shwebo Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against terrorists who recklessly attacked with dropping bombs using a drone towards the Myoma market, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
