Two men and a woman were injured, and a motor vehicle was damaged in a blast of improvised anti-vehicle mine laid by so-called PDF terrorists in Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region.
The incident happened that, on 30 April at 09:00 AM, a MDY 9P/xxxx Nissan 12-wheel motor vehicle was being driven by U Tun Tun Win, 47 years old, (Father) U Maung Win, who lives in Sammyo Ward of Kalay Township, Sagaing Region, and was carrying his wife Daw Win Win Kyu, 46 years old, (Father) U Maung Chane, and his son Mg Tun Myat Thaw, 18 years old. They were traveling from Mandalay City to Shwebo Town along the Mandalay-Shwebo Road. When they reached near Bonebwe Village in Shwebo Township, a mine laid by a so-called PDF terrorist group exploded on the right side of the Road. As a result of the explosion, the front windshield and two side windows of the vehicle were damaged, and U Tun Tun Win, Daw Win Win Kyu and Mg Tun Myat Thaw sustained injuries from the mine. They were transported to the Monywa Township Public Hospital for medical treatment, it is reported.
Security force members are continue taking necessary measures to take punitive legal actions against the perpetrators, who blew up a vehicle, ridden by innocent civilians, as soonest in accordance with laws and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
