In regions and states, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts by detonating roads and bridges, as well as dropping bombs and firing heavy arms on the non-military targets, such as Ward and Villages where innocent civilians reside.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 14 June at 05:40 PM, a so-called PDF terrorist group (total number – under scrutiny) recklessly opened fire with improvised rockets and mortars towards Thayatkan Village in Myaing Township, Magway Region. The attack was initiated from a valley approximately 800 meters west of the Village. The improvised rockets and mortars detonated upon landing within the village, causing damage to the zinc roofs of two residential houses belonging to innocent civilians, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against terrorists who recklessly opened fire with improvised rockets and mortars towards a Village where innocent civilians reside, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
