In regions and states, insurgent groups supporting terrorism and so-called PDF terrorist groups have been carrying out terrorist acts by detonating roads and bridges, as well as dropping bombs and firing heavy arms on the non-military targets, such as Ward and Villages where innocent civilians reside.
Since they are conducting such terrorist acts, on 12 June at 11:25 AM, approximately 50 members of a so-called PDF terrorist group recklessly opened fire with improvised rockets towards Thayakwa Village in Myaing Township, Magway Region. The attack was initiated from a forest approximately 800 meters southwest of the Village. The projectiles from the improvised rockets landed and exploded within the Village. As a result of the explosions, the zinc roofs of the two houses where innocent civilians reside were destroyed. Fortunately, there were no injuries to people, it is reported.
Security personnel are investigating the incident to take punitive action against terrorists who recklessly opened fire with improvised rockets towards a Village where innocent civilians reside, as soonest in accordance with the law and to maintain stability and peace in the region, it is reported.
