Two so-called PDF terrorists died in an explosion caused by a homemade mine that they were carrying with the intent of conducting a terrorist bombing in Myinmu Township, Sagaing Region.
The incident happened that, on 29 May at 05:00 PM, according to the report indicated that an explosion occurred near the Union Solidarity and Development Party office in Myinmu Township, Sagaing Region, security personnel went to the scene and conducted an inspection. The investigation found that so-called PDF terrorists (under scrutiny) had been carrying a homemade mine in their motorcycle tool box, intending to carry out a terrorist bombing. However, when they arrived at the scene, the mine detonated. As a result of the explosion, they both died with injuries from mine. They were taken to the Myinmu Township Public Hospital for further examination. Security personnel are investigating to take punitive action against the deceased terrorists in line with the law, it is reported.
